Clipper 101

Overview

Network Salon owner, barber extraordinaire, and Bb.Creative Collaborator, Victor Cuevas, is traveling from Vancouver, bringing his unique, vintage-meets-modern barbering skills to you. In Clipper 101, students will become comfortable with all types of clippers, and learn how to control tapers and integrate fades.

Models

1 cutting hands-on model to arrive at 11:45AM (if supplying your own model)

Hands-on model requirements:
• Models must be 18 or older
• Models come in with clean, dry hair
• Must have 4 inches of hair on sides and back, minimum of 6 inches on top
• Medium to thick texture
• Straight to Wavy texture
• Avoid thin, sparse or fine textures or really curly/coarse hair
• Avoid balding front hairline, top or crown

Clipper comb (recommend - Wahl "flat top clipper comb")
Cutting Comb
Styling Comb
Taper/Barber Comb
Denman/Flat Brush or Vented Styling Brush
Cutting Clipper with an adjustable lever is preferred
Edging clippers.
