Who: Anyone; a natural for short hair; won't overwhelm fine hair; perfect for highly textural cuts.

When: Anytime; after Prep or Tonic Lotion; use on damp or dry hair to style.

How: Spread a dime-size dab or two onto palms and work through barely damp or dry hair with fingers and style; work quickly and try not to overwork; spray down with Tonic Lotion (or Shine On Finishing Spray) to rework or to cut hold.

pros:

I have naturally curly short hair, but I straighten it every day. Sumotech is the only product I've found (and I've used HUNDREDS!) that keeps my style in place without weighing down my hair or looking crunchy. I style my hair in a piecey bob, and Sumotech is perfect for keeping the edgy look in place all day. It's also great for keeping the ends of my hair straight, instead of flaring out or curling up. Plus, it smells delicious and lasts for a really long time!

pros:

It really is the perfect combo of wax, paste, and creme. I'm a guy with thick, straight, medium-length hair (5 in.) and it's my go-to styler. I put in Sumotech after blow-drying with styling creme, working front to back and roots to ends, then comb through for a sleek finish. It holds my hair back in a soft wave, with good shine, and doesn't slick it down like I'm an extra on Mad Men. I only wash my hair about once a week so this product is great because it doesn't build up day after day like a wax would, nor does it make your hair dry and dull like some hairsprays do. And if you add too much at once, spray it with water, blow-dry again, and you're back to where you started.

pros:

I have been a NYC client of B&B for almost 20 years. After experimenting with several products throughout the years, sumotech is my styling staple because of it's many uses. If I have time to blow-dry my long, thick and wavy hair, sumotech eliminates fly-aways and gives texture to my ends. If I want a polished ponytail, sumotech holds everything in place. If I prefer to let my hair dry naturally (which is most days), sumotech brings out and maintains my waves and curls. I've even got my pre-teen daughter hooked. She doesn't leave the house in the morning without asking for some sumotech. It's an amazing, versatile product that works wonders with just a dab...and it smells great! Thanks, B&B!

but it works really well..they say it's 3 different products in one and it's hard to understand what they mean until you try it..but it works in a variety of ways on various hair lengths to create multiple looks..all with the same product!

pros:

When I first tried Sumotech I didn't really like it but I don't think I used it correctly. Since then I have fallen in love with the product! It helps to give my layered, straight hair some shape and definition. It doesn't weigh my hair down either. Try it!!

The one and only....

pros:

Introduced to this product in 2004 and have used it religiously since. It's the complete solution for the guy who needs style in his hair but wants to look as if you barely used anything and it took even less effort. Sumotech is consistently a great product and very versatile, nothing else remotely like it.
