Having thin hair I tried the surf spray-(now have been using it for quite a while) I remember being at the beach and the hair just puffs up there due to salt mist from the ocean-So I tried surf spray and believe me it's like a day at the beach and the best is if it rains - a no beach day-open your cabinet and surf it up-This I will not be without-no one would know I have thin hair-spray it up-blow it out-then OMG-I have full hair. I love this product, but a little goes a long way. It gives you beach worthy waves and extra texture, like you just walked out of the salt water ocean! I use it in place of mousse for extra lift and body on my damp towel dried hair and other times i use it for texture and waves all over. Try it !!

I use this product on my coarse, wavy hair. It helps to make it curlier, and give it a sexy "I've been at the beach all day" look. It doesn't dry my hair out, which is good because my hair is naturally dry. I use about 6-8 squirts on my thick, shoulder-length hair, after using B&B Hairdresser's Oil, and before using some curl-enhancing mousse. I let it air dry, and I have soft, sexy, curls all day.

I have medium/thick wavy, frizzy, long hair. As a student, I'm constantly on the go and don't have as much time or patience for hairstyling anymore. I'm trying to rehab my damaged hair, so air drying is best, but I end up with so much frizz. I love Surf Spray because I can spritz it on, and it defines my waves/shape, gives a cool matte hold/finish, and even tones down some of the frizz! And I'm able to avoid any heat styling and still achieve a look. I've noticed that it has a more measurable effect on shorter styles. When I first bought it, I had hair just past my shoulders, and it reallyyy brought out the waves, the layers, and added some beachy volume. Now my hair has grown much longer and heavier, so the effect is a little less, but still very nice nonetheless. This is great for creating cool, edgy updos as well, as the spray will give a good texture to work with, but will also help hold the style in place for a long time.Don't spray too much in one area, you can always go back and add more. I like to spray it on damp hair, because then even if I did over-apply on one section, air drying will help soften the use of too much product. I've also noticed that you can bring out more of your hair's shape when you spray it on damp hair versus dry hair. I avoid putting too much on the root area, unless I want one spritz to try to encourage a lot of volume that day.The only, smallest critique I have of this product is that the span of the spray is a bit wide, which took some getting use to, as the first time I aimed it at my hair, I ended up spraying half on my face because the nozzle covers such a large area. Over time you'll get used to it and learn how far away and where to hold your hand so you can direct the spritz right where you need it!I tried this on my friend with straight hair, and it encouraged a little waving, but overall gave her a messy/sexy texturized look, which was good because she has extremely fine hair, though I would not expect this product to creat

pros:
I was hesitant about using this product because nothing really helps me get defined waves besides a curling iron. However, when I sprayed my hair and scrunched there was a noticable difference between this and other products. Other people noticed too and I recieved compliments. The only thing I would change is the smell. I expected something coconutty or beachy but it doesn't smell bad.

I found this to be a good product but not what I was fully looking for. It does work but it works better in wet hair and then when blow dried afterwards. It smells amazing however and a little goes a long way. If you have partially wavy hair already, this would do wonders I am sure.

I absolutely love this product. I recently got my hair cut into a pixie and was looking for something to style it with. This product is so easy to use-i just spray it on my damp hair and tousle a little bit. That's it! It leaves a matte finish, which is great since sometimes my hair gets a little oily (especially now that it's short!) Sometimes, it even looks ok after i've slept on it! It doesn't leave my hair crispy or sticky. Actually, after my hair dries, it doesn't even feel like i have product in it- it just feels soft and looks great.Oh, and it smells nice too! (but not perfume-y at all, so guys could totally use it!)

Surf spray makes my super flat and fine hair much more texturized as well as volumized. I spray a generous amount at the roots and a bit under my hair and it would seem I have the full head of thick hair i always wish for. The product has great staying power as well. Works great alone or in accordance with B&B Prep.

I have been battling very fine hair my whole life - until I found Surf Spray! My hair is fine and mostly straight but after drying it, I spray Surf Spray all over and scrunch. After, add a little Spray de Mode or Classic Hairspray from BB for hold, and away I go! Surf Spray gives my hair just the right grit to have wavy, full hair. Added bonus: if you get greasy easily, this stuff takes care of that too! Spray a little on your roots and you're good for another 24 hours at least.

This is a great thing for people who dont want to style their hair everyday. I got a great tip from Allure Magazine for styling hair:1. Spray in dry hair2. Twist in 3 inch sections and pin to head3. Wait until dry ( If dont have time to air dry, blow dry with hair drier and diffusor)4. Shake out hair and finger combYou can sleep on this, also, and DO NOT BRUSH!!!!!!

The product itself was so so - cant really do a proper summary as bottle squirter kept jamming up and bottle top eventually broke. Obviously a one off fluke can't be helped but this is not the first Bumble and Bumble product this has happened with - your products are pricey and so NOT worth the investment if you can't even use them properly. So annoying.

I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE this product and cannot say enough great things about it. The absolute only drawback is bottle size. Need more ounces. If this came in 8 oz or 12 oz I would be in heaven.
