What happened to the old Straight Product that worked???

I've used B&B Straight for four years and loved it. I ran out last weekend and went to my usual salon to purchase a replacement tube as I use it daily! I noticed the packaging had changed ... but OMG so did the product!! Although the description on the tube is the same as the previous packaging. When I went to use it for the first time, it's now white instead of clear, it feels like lotion instead of the nice glossy, rich texture. Smells like a men's grooming product rather than being fragrance free. And finally, after spending $31 for it, it doesn't work! It makes my hair very dry, much less protect it from the heat. Why did Bumble and Bumble change this wonderful product that made it possible for my hair to do anything I wanted? Now it just gives me dry hair and makes me smell like a guy. Extremely disappointed.

My hair is curly/wavy and tends to be dry. I recently discovered Blow Dry as a kind of leave-in conditioner that keeps my hair from being frizzy or poofing up and also helps with styling. I mix it with a little bit of Bumble and bumble hair oil and get a great sheen as well. If I do this, blow dry a tiny bit and then let my hair dry naturally i stlll get a fair amount of curl, but a much more manageable and frizz-free curl. I'm not a big blow dryer, but I suspect I would get a less dry/more straight look if I tried to go for that.If I had to limit myself to just a few hair products this would seriously be one of them.

Love this product! It's light-weight and leaves my hair soft, straight and shiny! Plus, my hair felt even softer and more manageable on the second day. Applied a nickel-sized amount to damp hair, blow-dried hair under high tension.I actually like it better than the old Bb.Straight product because it's a styling balm - not a clear gel and it's non-sticky! Will buy again, the results speak for themselves.

I have been using the Straight original gel version for years and it worked just fine, was a little too heavy for my fine curly hair. The new version is lighter, my hair dries in half the time, it isn't as sticky as the original and leaves a nice shine and not weighed down. I really don't notice much of a fragrance, most of the time I use spray afterwards, which has a fragrance anyway.Maybe too light for those with thicker curly hair.Personally I think they should sell both.

I am absolutely addicted to this product. It has a very light texture and a pleasant smell, and what is more important - it works perfectly! I have wavy hear that often times is unmanageable. This product holds my styling in place for the whole day. It is also great at taming my frizz, even though the product description does not mention that. Overall, I use it 2-3 times a week and almost always before going out. Hair looks gorgeous and shiny!

This is the best balm I have used. whether I am blowing my hair out or running out the door and letting it air dry it does exactly what I need it to do. It shortens the time and work when I blow dry and does not weigh my hair down. When I don't have time to use the dryer it smoothes and tames any frizzies. A friend was on vacation with me and she had to use some of mine, she loved it too and had to get some of her own.

Since I started using this product, it has helped my hair not look so frizzy. The humidity in florida will kill any hair style/hair type! It leaves my hair very smooth and soft. Makes sure to use it sparingly and do not use it at the roots. I would recomend this product to anyone who likes to blow dry their hair straight and to anyone who is trying to keep the humidity from sneaking in.

I use this product for the shaft and ends of my hair before I blow out and I love it! It helps my hair to maintain shape and no further styling is needed after I blow it out - just add a dab of Invisible Hair Oil and I am good to go!

This works really well on my hair but I noticed after a few days of use, it seems to build up too much on my hair but my hair is somewhat oily. If you have dry hair this product is perfect. I've never been one to straighten my hair but this product does the trick.

This product may work well for some hair types, but not for mine. I have fine hair, but thick (lots of it), if that makes sense, and it is naturally wavy. What I found with this product is that it actually dried the wave in before I could straighten it with a brush and dryer. The old Straight product worked better for me.

I have straight hair and am fortunate its in good shape(thanks to B&Bproducts and my hairdresser). I got a sample and used it with the thickening spray and wow! My bob is perfect and I think this helps it look great for a few days with minimal touch up. Smell is great, and it islight weight. Think it would work wonders on many hair types and it doesn't take a lot. Who would have thought it would be equally good on straight hair!

Seriously, this product works wonders on my long hair. Without this product, it takes an eternity to dry my hair, and by the time I'm done my locks lack lustre from all the heat! But with this product, I don't have to subject my hair to heat as long as before to get it straight. And I'm out the door faster in the morning, which is always a plus. Use with Hairdresser's Invisible Oil to add shine to the smoothness this product brings.

I used this product yesterday for the first time and OH MY GOD where has it been all my life??!! My hair is thick, with a lot of natural curl and to add to it, pretty damaged. I have been regularly coloring it for over 10 years, most recently my hair was fire engine red so I was coloring it atleast once a month. I also blow dry and flat iron every three days unless it's raining. My point is that my hair is dry and porous and I've had a pretty hard time finding smoothing products that actually work. Well, my search is over. As soon as I applied this balm to my hair it instantly felt softer. It cut down on my drying time dramatically, which I didn't expect with first-time use. My normal styling time from shower to last swipe with the flat iron is a little over an hour. After using this product, my style time was cut to 20 minutes. And for the first time I did NOT have to use a flat iron or curling iron. Simply amazing and totally worth the $$$. Thanks BB!!

I have been using a sample of this product I received from Sephora. So far, It's the BEST product I have ever used for blow drying my hair. Doesn't make my hair greasy, smell isn't offensive, hair is soft and feels amazing...I've used multiple other serums, creams, lotions, etc for blow drying and this is one I find worth whatever money I will spend on getting a full sized bottle.I received many complements on my hair today, and the only thing I did different was use this product instead of something else from my stash (all which will now be trashed!)

This product is amazing! It has significantly cut down on my drying time, leaves my hair straight, and without frizz. I also love that it's not oily - other products make my hair really greasy looking after a few hours. Depending on the level of styling needed, I'll also combine with the Hairdressers Oil, Prep, and/or DeFrizz. All combinations have been great so far.My hair is fine, wavy and with lots of strands - this product is great and I hope it stays around for a long time!

There hasn't been another product EVER that has even come close to taming my wild, frizzy curls like this can. I put it in when my hair is damp, blow dry and flat iron...it's amazing! I loved BB straight prior to your changing the formulation. I used it without heat (I use very large curlers) and the result was shiny straight hair with body. The current product leaves my hair looking dull and does not add body. I have been trying an assortment of other manufacturers products but I can't find any that I like as much as this discontinued formula! Please bring it back.

I have a lot of fine, very wavy hair that I leave wavy most of the time. I recently got a sample of this and decided to try it. At first I thought "It's a leave-in conditioner? Not exactly reinventing the wheel." Also, it kind of smells. It's not bad, but it kind of smells like laundry detergent. I don't love it. But, I decided to go ahead with it anyway; I figured it would at least help with the frizz. Then I started blow drying. It was like the wave just fell out of my hair and also seemed to dry faster than normal. Since my hair is fine, it's not that hard to straighten, but I do have issues with frizziness and have to make sure it's completely dry so that the wavy-ness doesn't show up later . Now I have straight, smooth hair that still has body. I'm ordering more immediately.
