pros:
I have tried many other products - powders and sprays and dry shampoos to fill in the areas where even with extensions and ratting my hair - there is some scalp peeking through and this productB&B hair powder is by far the best. The small size is also very convenient to carry in my purse and the larger size is a must on my vanity for everyday usage.

I have hair issues. I have fine, thinning, curly hair. I use this product to cover up thinning spots and to give volume at the roots. I have used other products that I have to dab on or spay on to color my scalp but none give the volume too. It gives me confidence to go thru my day knowing my hair looks great! I can't begin to say how much this product has done for me personally...... I am able to wear different hair styles that I was unable to do before because of the thinning areas....THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH B&B! PLEASE KEEP PRODUCTS FOR THINNING HAIR COMING....

this product covers the grey between tint touch ups, only drawback you have to be very careful when you spray it on your hair, the fine mist particles can fly on your clothes, the counter, even the floor; be sure to cover your ears and clothing and shake it very well before application

I got this product as a way to cleanse my hair without showering it, as my hair is normally too oily not to wash it every day. This product was awful. It got color all over me and my bathroom, and once it was in my hair it acted like hairspray and i couldn't even get a comb through it! I let it dry and it still got brown stuff on my hands anytime I touched my hair. I couldn't wait to wash it out - and it was all over my tub as I washed! Horrible, horrible product and would never recommend to anyone, ever.

I have extremely thinning hair--something the doctors can't seem to figure out how to fix. Regardless, this product works to camoflague the thinner parts of my hair by coloring my scalp. I know it sounds like a weird thing to use it for, but no one can tell I have thin hair when I use this product and as someone who cares about my appearance, people not knowing I have thin hair is very important to me. Another benefit to this product is that it does an amazing job as a root lifter. All in all, I have been using this product for over 3 years, I use it nearly everyday, and it has saved me from feeling self conscious. My only complaint is the brown stains your tub if it is white (need to clean it more often) and do not wear it to bed at night as it stains sheets/fabric too. Small issues in exchange for the positiives in my opinion.

I have extremely thin/fine hair with zero volume. This product is wonderful for adding volume, but most importantly (for me) covering some of the significantly thinning areas. It colors your hair and your scalp and really makes a big difference in the overall appearance. I use this product as more of a thinning disguise technique. It is also good to use as dry shampoo a day or two after washing, but it seems to absorb oil on its own so I don't have to use it more than once between washings usually.The only drawback, and it's a big one, is that it is SO messy. Your entire bathroom will be coated with a brown film and you won't even really realize it until you go to clean it and every towel/rag you use turns brown. It also colors my pillow, but now I just throw a brown hand towel over on top of my pillow at night.It's also very messy in the shower when it rinses out. Your hands, water, etc. will be brown and so will your shower floor. I definitely have to clean my shower much more frequently. I also find the residue seems to build up in my drains much quicker with this product and now they're frequently slow flowing!It's messy to apply as well, but improves with practice. You have to shake the can hard and not be afraid to spray, also don't wear clothes while applying.For now, this makes such a difference in my appearance, that I'm learning to deal with the drawbacks.

this product will mess up your linens, clothes, hats, etc. What every you do dont go to bed or the gym with it in. You do not want to sweat in public. this product made my hair sticky and dull and rubbed off on everything I came near. I did try it several times, thinking I just needed to learn to use it properly. Doesn't matter how little or how careful you are....its a dull, sticky mass of yuck! Wish I had my money back.

pros:
I use the brown hair powder and love it! I don't have to color so often which leaves my hair more healthy. I did find the can is hard to spray but I simply ran the top under hot water to clean it up. I hold up the back of a hand mirror to cover my face or forehead so the product won't shade my skin, then wipe off mirror. It's great for just spots or parts, I have very white hair and still wear it dark and this works well for me.

Not a Dry Shampoo

I should have paid better attention. I thought this was a dry shampoo. WRONG! If you want to touch up your roots, etc, this would be a great product, but beware! You'll have brown all over your hands and face and well, everything after using it. I thought it was a dry shampoo. IT IS NOT! And seriously, why doesn't Bumble and Bumble have one? If you discontinued it, please bring it back!
