We designed our swirling Curl Conscious paisleys after we heard one inspiring story of paisley's origin: Harvest workers in India once dipped the sides of their fists in brightly colored inks to mark their rice bags with individual prints. The curved silhouette evolved over generations into the iconic teardrop-shaped paisley print, and spread throughout the world as a popular fabric motif. Like these shapes that evolved from deeply personal human imprints, no two curls are alike, and we celebrate them for their distinction.
